Happy Birthday Alvin! ~hugZ.

Today we went to watch the Avril Lavigne concert. She so rawks. Pug Jelly (I think) opened for her. They were pretty good. This is my first time hearing their music. They sound a bit like Simple Plan meets Green Day. Too bad we were in the seated area so we couldn’t stand up and have fun, but it was still better than standing at her last concert, cos I could only see the back of the tall dude in front of me. She opened with He Wasn’t. While she was singing Together and Forgotten, she played on the grand piano. I had no idea those songs could be accompanied by a grand piano! Loved that she ended her set with Sk8ter Boi!!!!! It got the whole crowd on their feet and I was jumping and bopping and singing along at the top of my lungs. She encored with playing the drums on Song 2 (!!!!WOO HOO!!!!) and Complicated (which I knew she would). Perfect way to end the concert. It felt so good to scream/sing along to all the songs and let out all the teenage angst.
