The number 33 bus route is probably the most geriatric bus route in Singapore. It passes by SGH, Tiong Bahru and Chinatown, which are generally Senior Citizen hangouts. Everytime I take the bus to and from work I get the feeling that the mean age on the bus is about 60.

Sometimes I feel that I give up on Life Science and look for a job in social work or special education or teaching. Still waiting for the AAS to get back to me after my observation visit. Other times I feel I should keep pursuing a Life Science related job (usually when I meet or talk to people from my batch). Everybody seems very concerned about my job situation. I appreciate it and all, but sometimes I’m just tired out by all of this. It’s hard working and looking for a job at the same time.
